Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques et les méthodes d'essai des raccords préisolés constitués d'un raccord en acier, d'une isolation thermique en mousse rigide de polyuréthane injectée et d'une protection extérieure en polyéthylène haute densité. On entend par raccord : les coudes, tés, réductions et pièces d'ancrage. Ils sont destinés à équiper des réseaux enterrés d'eau chaude et à fonctionner à différentes températures pouvant atteindre 120 °C en service continu et 140 °C en pointe.
