Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques requises pour les manchons thermorétractables, semi-flexibles, en polyvinylidène, destinés à être utilisés dans les systèmes électriques des aéronefs à des températures comprises entre - 55 °C et 150 °C. Ce manchon est essentiellement transparent, mais peut être teinté. Il est semi-flexible, solide, résiste à l'abrasion et est approprié à un usage nécessitant une réduction de tension et un soutien mécanique ou des propriétés transparentes.
