Le présent document s'applique aux câbles intérieurs de raccordement destinés à être utilisés dans les systèmes de distribution par câbles fonctionnant à des températures comprises entre -40 °C et +70 °C et à des fréquences comprises entre 5 MHz et 1 000 MHz et qui sont conformes aux exigences de la NF EN 50083. Il est destiné à spécifier les méthodes d'essai et les exigences applicables pour les performances électriques, mécaniques, environnementales et au feu des câbles.
