La présente norme s''applique aux taximètres électroniques, désignés ci-après sous le vocable général taximètres, pour installation sur les taxis ; ces taximètres, à l''aide de dispositifs électroniques, calculent et indiquent la somme due par le passager du taxi. La présente norme ne s''applique pas aux taximètres commandés à distance par un système extérieur en ce qui concerne les fonctions décrites dans la présente norme. La présente norme ne traite pas des spécifications sur les qualités de fonctionnement du taximètre après installation de ce dernier, non plus que des exigences propres à son installation.
