Le présent document spécifie les prescriptions, la construction et les dimensions des câbles à un conducteur. Tous les câbles à un conducteur possèdent une âme en cuivre étamé de classe 5 selon le HI D383, une isolation, et une gaine le cas échéant, sans halogènes. Ils sont destinés aux câblages fixes ou soumis à de faibles flexions en service des matériels roulants ferroviaires. Les câbles à un conducteur présentent, en cas d'incendie, des performances particulières en matière de propagation maximale admissible de la flamme (longueur brûlée) et d'émission de fumées et de gaz toxiques. Le présent document peut être utilisé dans le cadre de l'attribution du droit d'usage de la Marque de conformité aux normes.
