Les méthodes d'essais appropriées sont données dans la série NF EN 60811, la série NF EN 50267-2, la NF EN 60684-2, la NF EN 50396 et la N F C 32-201-14. Ce document entre dans le champ d'application de la Directive Basse Tension n° 73/23/CEE du 19/02/1973 modifiée par 93/68/CEE du 22/07/1993.
