Le présent document spécifie les classes de rendement pour les moteurs électriques à induction triphasés 50 Hz et 60 Hz à cage, mono vitesse et qui : - ont une tension assignée UN jusqu'à 1 000 V, - ont une puissance de sortie assignée PN entre 0,75 kW et 375 kW, - ont 2, 4 ou 6 pôles, - sont assignés sur la base d'un service type S1 (service continu) ou S3 (service périodique intermittent) avec un facteur de service de 80 ou plus, - sont destinés à être alimentés directement à partir du réseau industriel, - ont des conditions de fonctionnement assignées conforme à la NF EN 60034-1, Article 6.
