Le présent document fournit un mode opératoire normalisé pour déterminer l'aptitude d'un spécimen à supporter des chocs répétitifs ou non répétitifs de sévérités spécifiées. Il est applicable aux composants, matériels et autres produits électrotechniques qui peuvent être soumis pendant leur transport, leur stockage, leur manutention ou leur utilisation à des conditions impliquant des chocs non répétitifs ou répétitifs. L'essai de choc peut également être utilisé pour s'assurer de la robustesse de structure du spécimen. Il doit être utilisé conjointement à la NF EN 60068-1 (C 20-700).
