Le présent document fournit des prescriptions concernant les propriétés des feuilles stratifiées tissées de verre E avec de la résine époxyde de 0,05 mm à 3,2 mm, plaquées cuivre, d'inflammabilité définie (essai de combustion verticale). Les caractéristiques d'inflammabilité sont obtenues en utilisant des ignifuges bromés faisant partie intégrante de la structure polymère époxyde. La température de transition vitreuse est définie à 120°C minimum. Des prescriptions de propriété peuvent comprendre plusieurs classes de performance. Il faut spécifier la classe souhaitée sur l'ordre d'achat sans quoi c'est la classe par défaut du matériau qui sera fournie.
