Cette norme spécifie les conditions auxquelles doivent satisfaire les tubes radiogènes à anode tournante et les gaines équipées utilisés dans le diagnostic médical. Elle doit être lue conjointement à la norme NF C 74-111 (décembre 1985) et ses additifs 1 (juin 1987), 2 (octobre 1987) et 3 (août 1989).
