Il doit être utilisé conjointement avec la norme homologuée NF EN 60730-1 de mars 2001. Le présent document entre dans le champ d'application de la Directive Basse Tension n° 2006/95/CE du 12/12/2006 et de la Directive Compatibilité Electromagnétique n° 2004/108/CE du 15/12/2004.
