Le présent amendement modifie le domaine d'application (Article 1) et les articles 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 et 9 de la NF EN 60947-6-2. Il a également pour objet d'ajouter une Figure 26 et les annexes E, F, G et H. Ce document entre dans le champ d'application de la Directive Basse Tension n° 2006/95/CE du 12/12/2006 et de la Directive "Compatibilité Electromagnétique" 89/336/CEE du 03/05/89 modifiée par 92/31/CEE du 28/04/92 et par 93/68/CEE du 22/07/93.
