Le présent document est applicable aux transfbrmateurs de séparation des circuits et aux transformateurs de sécurité fixes ou mobiles, monophasés ou polyphasés, à refroidissement par air (naturel ou forcé), associés ou indépendants, destinés à être utilisés sur les chantiers, ayant une tension primaire assignée ne dépassant pas 1 000 V en courant aitematif, et une fréquence assignée ne dépassant pas 500 Hz. Ce document entre dans le champ d'application de la Directive Basse Tension n °73/23/EEC du 19/02/73 modifiée par 93/68/CEE du 22/07/93.
