Le présent document est une spécification pour les appareils mobiles, portables et portatifs capable de recevoir les services DVB-T/H. Elle inclue aussi bien les aspects systèmes informatifs que les spécifications des caractéristiques RF minimales. Il couvre les terminaux et les différencie en 3 classes principales, à savoir : les terminaux intégrés pour automobile, les téléviseurs numériques portables et les terminaux portatifs convergents. L'interopérabilité avec les radios cellulaires intégrées est également prise en compte.
