Le présent document spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d'essai pour les compositions d'étanchéité anaérobies (après s'être reporté à "composition d'étanchéité") utilisables pour étancher les raccords filetés métalliques comme ceux spécifiés dans la norme ISO 7-1. Ces compositions d' étanchéité s ont utilisables en contact des gaz du 1re, 2e et 3e groupe (non compris le GPL sous forme liquide), et de l'eau chaude de chauffage.
