Les conditions techniques de contrôle et de livraison, y compris les produits et les exigences d''essai, sont spécifiées dans la NF EN 754-1. La désignation des états métallurgiques sont définis dans la NF EN 515. Les limites de composition chimique de ces matériaux sont donnés dans la NF EN 573-3.
