Le présent document spécifie les exigences, les méthodes d'essai et le marquage des ceintures à cuissardes à utiliser dans les systèmes de maintien, de retenue au travail et d'accès avec cordes, lorsqu'un point d'accrochage bas est nécessaire. Les informations à fournir par le fabricant sont également incluses. Les ceintures à cuissardes ne sont pas adaptées pour l'arrêt des chutes. Le présent document est une norme harmonisée rentrant dans le cadre de la Directive 89/686/CEE.
