Le présent document, associé avec les parties 3-10, 3-21, 3-22, 3-23 et 3-25 de la NF EN 60332, spécifie des méthodes d'essai pour l'évaluation de la propagation verticale de la flamme des fils ou câbles, électriques ou optiques, disposés en nappes en position verticale, dans des conditions définies. Il couvre la catégorie C et concerne les câbles montés sur l'échelle d'essai afin d'obtenir un volume total nominal de matériau non métallique de 1,5 I/m d'échantillon d'essai. Le présent document entre dans le champ d'application de la Directive Basse Tension n°2006/95/CE du 12/12/2006.
