Le présent document a pour objet de spécifier les méthodes utilisées pour déterminer la masse volumique, la résistivité, et le facteur de foisonnement des tôles et bandes magnétiques. Ces grandeurs sont nécessaires pour établir les caractéristiques magnétiques du matériau. En particulier il faut disposer de la masse volumique pour ajuster l'induction magnétique aux valeurs spécifiées, quand on ne connaît pas l'épaisseur de l'éprouvette.
