Le présent document s'applique pour les ASI destinées à être installées : - comme une unité d'ASI ou dans un système d'ASI comprenant plusieurs ASI interconnectées et leurs équipements de contrôle et d'isolation formant un système d'alimentation unitaire; et - dans n'importe quel local accessible à l'opérateur ou dans des locaux électriques séparés et reliés à des réseaux d'alimentation basse tension pour les environnements industriels ou résidentiels, commerciaux et de l'industrie légère. Ce document entre dans le champ d'application de la Directive "Compatibilité Électromagnétique" n° 89/336/CEE du 03/05/1989 modifiée par 92/31/CEE du 28/04/1992 et par 93/68/CEE du 22/07/1993 et par 97/24/CE du 17/06/1997.
