Le présent document prescrit une méthode d'essai statique de la résistance de l'assemblage agrafé des courroies transporteuses, les assemblages étant reliés ou non avec une tige de charnière. Le document ne s'applique pas aux jonctionnements vulcanisés ni aux courroies transporteuses légères. La méthode permet de déterminer la résistance moyenne à la rupture de l'assemblage en fonction de la largeur agrafée et la résistance de l'assemblage en pourcentage de la résistance nominale à la rupture en pleine épaisseur de la courroie.
