ISO 11855-4:2012 allows the calculation of peak cooling capacity of Thermo Active Building Systems (TABS), based on heat gains, such as solar gains, internal heat gains, and ventilation, and the calculation of the cooling power demand on the water side, to be used to size the cooling system, as regards the chiller size, fluid flow rate, etc.ISO 11855-4:2012 defines a detailed method aimed at the calculation of heating and cooling capacity in non-steady state conditions.

Le présent document vise à fournir un guide pour la conception promouvant le recours à des sources d'énergie renouvelables et à proposer une méthode pour l'utilisation de systèmes thermoactifs (TABS). Le présent document spécifie une méthode pour calculer : la puissance frigorifique de pointe d'un système thermoactif sur la base des apports de chaleur ; la demande d'énergie coté eau (système) à utiliser pour le dimensionnement du système de refroidissement. Les méthodes du présent document s'appliquent aux systèmes intégrés dans la construction (murs, planchers ou plafonds) sans plenum ouvert. Les méthodes du présent document ne s'appliquent pas aux panneaux, ou poutres de plafond chauffés ou réfrigérés.
This document allows the calculation of peak cooling capacity of Thermo Active Building Systems (TABS) – Type V according to ISO 11855-1, based on heat gains, such as solar gains, internal heat gains, and ventilation, and the calculation of the cooling power demand on the water side, to be used to size the cooling system, as regards, e.g. the chiller size, fluid flow rate. This document defines a detailed method aimed at the calculation of heating and cooling capacity in non-steady state conditions.
