Energy efficiency of industrial trucks - Test methods - Part 1: General

This document specifies general test criteria and requirements to measure the energy consumption for self-propelled industrial trucks (hereinafter referred to as trucks) during operation. La série de normes EN 16796 traite de l'efficacité énergétique des chariots de manutention pendant le fonctionnement. La présente partie spécifie les conditions d'essais et les procédures de mesurage de base pour l'ensemble des chariots, les batteries de traction et les chargeurs de batterie. Elle est complétée par des parties spécifiques en fonction des familles suivantes : chariots commandés par l'opérateur, tracteurs et transporteurs de charge (Partie 2) , chariots élévateurs porte-conteneur (Partie 3) , chariots tout-terrain (Partie 4) et chariots avec poste de l'opérateur élevable et déplacement avec charges élevées (Partie 5). Elle définit également le contenu du rapport d'essai et la déclaration de consommation d'énergie du chariot. Elle ne traite ni de la fabrication, ni du recyclage, ni de la destruction du chariot.
