Le présent document prescrit trois méthodes d'essai pour la détermination de la dureté par identation des matériaux alvéolaires souples : - méthode A (indice de dureté par indentation), qui donne une simple mesure d'indentation, pour les essais de laboratoire ; - méthode B (caractéristique de dureté par indentation), qui donne des informations sur la forme de la courbe par indentation ; - méthode C (contrôle de dureté par indentation), qui est une méthode rapide utilisable pour les essais de contrôle de qualité.
