Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination de la résistance à la compression et de la déformation relative correspondante ou de la contrainte en compression à 10 % de déformation relative. Il spécifie également, lorsque cela est souhaitable, le module de compression des plastiques alvéolaires rigides. Il existe deux modes opératoires : le mode opératoire A destiné à être utilisé lorsque la contrainte en compression à 10 % de déformation relative doit être déterminée et le mode opératoire B destiné à être utilisé lorsque le module en compression doit être déterminé.
