Textile machinery - Noise test code - Part 6 : Fabric manufacturing machinery

This document covers the different types of weaving and knitting machines defined in ISO 5247 (all parts)[2] and ISO 7839[3], respectively. It is applicable to: full-width weaving machines with weft insertion by: shuttles; rigid, telescopic or flexible rapiers; projectiles; hydraulic (waterjet) or by pneumatic (airjet) nozzle; narrow fabric weaving machines with weft insertion by shuttles or needles; jacquard machines; knitting machinery including: circular knitting; flat bed knitting; warp knitting; raschel; cotton (flat weft weaving); other fabric manufacturing machines e.g.: multi-phase weaving machines; circular weaving machines; stitch bonding machines.NOTE Because of the high requirements on measurement conditions, grade 1 methods are normally not feasible for textile machinery.

This document covers the different types of weaving and knitting machines defined in ISO 5247 (all parts)[2] and ISO 7839[3], respectively.

It is applicable to:

full-width weaving machines with weft insertion by:

  • shuttles;
  • rigid, telescopic or flexible rapiers;
  • projectiles;
  • hydraulic (waterjet) or by pneumatic (airjet) nozzle;

narrow fabric weaving machines with weft insertion by shuttles or needles;

jacquard machines;

knitting machinery including:

  • circular knitting;
  • flat bed knitting;
  • warp knitting;
  • raschel;
  • cotton (flat weft weaving);

other fabric manufacturing machines e.g.:

  • multi-phase weaving machines;
  • circular weaving machines;
  • stitch bonding machines.

NOTE Because of the high requirements on measurement conditions, grade 1 methods are normally not feasible for textile machinery.

La présente partie de l'ISO 9902, conjointement à l'ISO 9902-1, spécifie les conditions de montage, de fonctionnement et de mesurage nécessaires pour le mesurage, la déclaration et la vérification du bruit émis par différents types de machines de production d'étoffes. Elle est applicable aux méthodes d'expertise (classe 2) et de contrôle (classe 3), conformément aux Normes internationales auxquelles il est fait référence. La présente partie de l'ISO 9902 couvre les différents types de machines de tissage et de tricotage définies dans l'ISO 5247 et l'ISO 7839 respectivement. Elle est applicable aux machines à tisser pleine largeur à navettes, à lances rigides, télescopiques ou flexibles, à projectiles, ainsi qu'aux machines à tisser pleine largeur à insertion de la trame par jet hydraulique (jet d'eau) ou par jet pneumatique (jet d'air). Elle est également applicable aux machines à tisser les rubans à insertion de la trame par navettes ou par aiguilles, à d'autres machines à tisser de type multiphasées ou circulaires, ainsi qu'aux machines Jacquard. La présente partie de l'ISO 9902 est applicable aux machines de tricotage comprenant les machines à tricoter circulaires, rectilignes, à mailles jetées, Raschel, cotton (machines à tricoter rectilignes à mailles) et machines de liage par fil.
