Le présent document décrit la procédure de convergence de la couche physique pour un réseau de zone métropolitaine (MAN) européen fondé sur la méthode d'accès en double bus à files d'attente réparties (DQDB) telle qu'elle est définie dans la norme IEEE 802.6 et fonctionnant à une vitesse de transmission de 622,080 Mbit/s, conformément aux Recommandations G.707 à G.709 du CCITT.
