NF ISO 18738
Lifts (elevators) - Measurement of lift ride quality
ISO 18738:2002 specifies requirements and methodology for the measurement and reporting of lift ride quality during lift motion. It does not specify acceptable or unacceptable ride quality.Lift performance parameters are often referenced in conjunction with lift ride quality. Parameters relevant to lift performance include jerk and acceleration. ISO 18738:2003 defines and uses performance parameters where they are integral to the evaluation of ride quality.

The Requirements department helps you quickly locate within the normative text:
- mandatory clauses to satisfy,
- non-essential but useful clauses to know, such as permissions and recommendations.
The identification of these types of clauses is based on the document “ISO / IEC Directives, Part 2 - Principles and rules of structure and drafting of ISO documents ”as well as on a constantly enriched list of verbal forms.
With Requirements, quickly access the main part of the normative text!
