La présente norme s'applique aux grues. mobiles, définies ci-dessous à l'exclusion des appareils suivants : - grues à tour sur rails, objet des normes NF E 52-081 et NF E 52-082. - grues type portuaire - grues sur rails ou sur voie ferrée définies par la norme NF E 52-075 - grues hydrauliques auxiliaires sur véhicule définies par la norme NF E 52-088 (capacité inférieure ou égale à 15 tonnes-mètres) - potences de dépannage automobile - engins mobiles à fonctions multiples ou à destination particulière tels que, tracteurs poseurs de canalisations, grues mobiles embarquées sur supports flottants, etc.
