La présente norme fixe les tolérances d'exécution de la partie taillée des tarauds à filets rectifiés destinés à l'exécution des filetages gaz. Les tolérances sont calculées à partir des tolérances des filetages gaz sans étanchéité dans le filet suivant la norme NF E 03-005. Les filetages intérieurs exécutés au moyen de ces tarauds sont désignés conventionnellement sous la dénomination simplifiée écrou.
