NF ISO 7619-1
Rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of indentation hardness - Part 1 : durometer method (Shore hardness)
ISO 7619-1:2010 specifies a method for determining the indentation hardness (Shore hardness) of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber by means of durometers using the A scale for rubbers in the normal-hardness range; the D scale for rubbers in the high-hardness range; the AO scale for rubbers in the low-hardness range and for cellular rubbers; and the AM scale for thin rubber test pieces in the normal-hardness range.
ISO 7619-1:2004 specifies a method for determining the indentation hardness (Shore hardness) of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber using durometers with the A scale for rubbers in the normal hardness range, the D scale for those in the high hardness range, the AO scale for those in the low hardness range and cellular rubbers, and the AM scale for thin rubber test pieces in the normal hardness range.
This document specifies a method for determining the indentation hardness (Shore hardness) of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber using durometers with the following scales: — the A scale for rubbers in the normal-hardness range; — the D scale for rubbers in the high-hardness range; — the AO scale for rubbers in the low-hardness range and for cellular rubbers; — the AM scale for thin rubber test pieces in the normal-hardness range.

The Requirements department helps you quickly locate within the normative text:
- mandatory clauses to satisfy,
- non-essential but useful clauses to know, such as permissions and recommendations.
The identification of these types of clauses is based on the document “ISO / IEC Directives, Part 2 - Principles and rules of structure and drafting of ISO documents ”as well as on a constantly enriched list of verbal forms.
