La norme européenne EN 2906 spécifie un écrou similaire à filetage ISO MJ, non revêtu.La norme européenne EN 2907 spécifie un écrou similaire à filetage ISO MJ, argenté. La norme européenne EN 3720 spécifie un écrou similaire à filetage ISO MJ, revêtu MoS2.La présente norme recommande, chaque fois que l'interchangeabilité peut être conservée, l'utilisation préférentielle des écrous correspondants définis par EN 2906, EN 2907 ou EN 3720.La présente norme spécifie les caractéristiques des écrous bihexagonaux, à freinage interne, à filetage ISO MJ, en acier résistant à la corrosion, non revêtus ou argentés ou revêtus MoS2, pour constructions aéronautiques.
