Le présent document détermine les caractéristiques dimensionnelles des portes et blocs portes intérieurs et extérieurs pour piétons, quels que soient leurs matériaux constitutifs, tels que définis dans les normes NF EN 14351-1 et prNF EN 14351-2 y compris ceux ayant des caractéristiques de résistance au feu et/ou dégagement de fumées. Il s'applique aux portes extérieures et intérieures à bords francs (chants droits), à recouvrement et à un ou deux vantaux battants à simple ou double action ainsi qu'aux portes coulissantes.
