La présente norme, qui fixe les caractéristiques de fonctionnement des disconnecteurs CB à zones de pression différentes non contrôlables destinés à équiper les chaudières individuelles, s'inscrit au sein d'un vaste programme de normalisation ayant pour objectif de lutter contre la pollution des réseaux d'alimentation en eau potable. Les disconnecteurs CB normalisés sont destinés à des chaudières de puissance maximale 70 kW dont la température est limitée à 110°C.
