Le présent document s'applique exclusivement aux dispositifs d'éveil situés en bordure de quais d'accès aux transports collectifs guidés, de quais maritimes et fluviaux, au droit des traversées de chaussées ou de voies ferrées sans dénivellation détectable entre le trottoir et la limite de danger, ou en haut de chaque volée d'escaliers.
