Le présent document a pour objet de définir les exigences auxquelles doivent répondre les liquides de refroidissement destinés à alimenter les circuits de refroidissement des véhicules routiers. En fonction de la température de congélation, on distingue trois types de liquides de refroidissement : - type 1 : liquide de refroidissement concentré ; - type 2 : liquide prêt à l'emploi, température de congélation -20 °C ; - type 3 : liquide prêt à l'emploi, température de congélation -35 °C.
