Il s'applique aux peintures, vernis et revêtements organiques mis en oeuvre sur subjectiles métalliques, sur béton ou sur tout autre subjectile représentatif de l'emploi réel. Il prévoit un type d'appareillage pour lequel les exigences géométriques et les conditions d'essai sont fixées.
