Le présent document modifie la classe V (paragraphe 4.5) et la classe VI (paragraphe 4.6.1) de la norme NF U 42-001:1981. Le paragraphe 4.6.2 concernant les engrais organo-minéraux reste inchangé. Il fixe les dénominations, les définitions, les spécifications, les teneurs minimales en éléments fertilisants, les teneurs à déclarer et autres éléments de marquage pour les engrais organiques azotés d'origine animale et/ou végétale et les engrais organiques NPK, NP, NK entièrement d'origine animale et/ou végétale.
