Le présent document décrit un mode opératoire de laboratoire pour déterminer la résistance à la pénétration des racines des géomembranes et géosynthétiques bentonitiques : un échantillon est placé dans de la terre semée de graines. Après 6 à 8 semaines l'échantillon est examiné pour voir si les racines des jeunes plants l'ont pénétré.
