Cette partie de l'EN 1451 s'applique aux systèmes de canalisation en polypropylène (PP) destinés à être utilisés pour l'évacuation des eaux-vannes et des eaux usées (à basse et haute température) à l'intérieur des bâtiments (code de zone d'application "B"), ainsi qu'à l'intérieur des bâtiments et enterrés à l'intérieur de la structure du bâtiment (code de zone d'application "BD").
