Aggregates - Petrographic investigation of aggregates relating to alkali-aggregate reactions

Le présent document spécifie la procédure à suivre pour l'examen pétrographique des granulats afin de déterminer leur réactivité éventuelle en milieu alcalin du béton. Cette identification a pour but d'apporter une meilleure connaissance des matériaux d'un gisement et d'orienter le choix des essais ultérieurs de qualification des granulats vis-à-vis de l'alcali-réaction selon la norme NF P 18-594.
