Le présent document vient en complément de la norme NF EN 14509 "Panneaux sandwiches autoportants, isolants, à deux parements métalliques" (indice de classement P 34-900) et a pour objet de : - proposer une méthode alternative à l'Annexe E de l'EN 14509, - fixer les valeurs de gradient thermique (lorsqu'ils sont à considérer), de critères de flèche limite, des coefficients de combinaison d'actions psi i, de facteurs de charge gamma F, de coefficients de sécurité matériau gamma m qui viennent en substitution de ceux fixés dans l'Annexe E, - préciser certains manquements à l'Annexe C de l'EN 14509.
