Le présent document définit une méthode d'essai permettant d'évaluer l'aptitude des joints de chaussée des ponts-routes à supporter les charges dues au trafic. Cette méthode consiste à soumettre une section standard du joint à un grand nombre de passages alternatifs d'une roue jumelée afin de simuler les effets du trafic. Le nombre de passages et la charge appliquée sur la roue sont variables.
