Ce document spécifie les caractéristiques d'un appareil destiné à indiquer le niveau correct de perception du papillotement du flux lumineux (flicker) pour toutes les formes d'ondes de fluctuation de la tension rencontrées dans la pratique. Ce document constitue une mise à jour de la NF EN 60868 d'août 1993 (indice C 91-868). Il est destiné à remplacer cette ancienne norme au plus tard le 1er janvier 2001.
