Geometrical product specifications (GPS) - Dimensioning and tolerancing - Non-rigid parts

Certaines pièces, lorsqu'elles sont retirées de l'environnement de fabrication, peuvent se déformer de façon significative par rapport à leurs limites définies, sous l'effet de certains facteurs. Elles sont appelées "pièces non rigides". Les déformations sont acceptables à condition que la pièce puisse, en lui appliquant une force raisonnable, être ramenée dans les tolérances indiquées pour faciliter le contrôle et le montage. Le présent document spécifie les règles de cotation et de tolérancement des pièces non rigides qui nécessitent la mise sous contrainte de certains éléments lors de la vérification des dimensions et des tolérances spécifiées sur le dessin. La situation du présent document dans la matrice GPS est donnée en annexe B.
