<p>ISO 4892-2:2006 specifies methods for exposing specimens to xenon-arc light in the presence of moisture to reproduce the weathering effects that occur when materials are exposed in actual end-use environments in daylight or daylight filtered through window glass.</p> <p>The specimens are exposed to filtered xenon-arc light under controlled conditions (temperature, humidity and/or wetting). Various types of xenon-arc light source and various filter combinations may be used to meet different requirements.</p>

Le présent document spécifie huit cycles d'exposition supplémentaires dans un nouveau tableau (Tableau 4), au cours desquels la régulation de température est effectuée avec un thermomètre à panneau noir. Les températures indiquées par le panneau noir qui sont spécifiées dans le Tableau 4 et les températures indiquées par l'étalon noir qui sont spécifiées dans le Tableau 3 sont celles qui sont le plus couramment utilisées, mais il n'existe aucune relation entre elles. Par conséquent, les résultats d'essai obtenus avec les deux tableaux peuvent ne pas être comparables.
