Toutes les tâches visuelles courantes sont prises en compte. Le présent document n'est pas applicable à l'éclairage de secours, voir la NF EN 1838 et la NF EN 13032-3. Bien que les exigences en matière d'éclairage spécifiées dans le présent document satisfassent de manière générale aux exigences de sécurité, le présent document ne comporte pas d'exigences relatives à l'éclairage en rapport avec la santé et la sécurité des travailleurs présents sur les lieux de travail et n'entre pas dans le domaine d'application de l'Article 153 du Traité de l'Union européenne.
