Neuf nuances d'acier perlitique sont spécifiées représentant une fourchette de dureté comprise entre 200 HBW et 440 HBW et incluant les aciers non traités thermiquement non alliés, les aciers alliés non traités thermiquement, les aciers traités thermiquement non alliés et les aciers traités thermiquement alliés. 23 profils de rail sont spécifiés dans le présent document.
