Ces schémas illustrent la configuration et le fonctionnement des usines en question et font partie intégrante de la documentation technique complète nécessaire pour planifier, concevoir, construire, gérer, mettre en service, faire fonctionner, entretenir et mettre hors service une usine. Les schémas de procédé contribuent à simplifier les échanges d'information entre parties intéressées par l'élaboration, la conception, la construction, le fonctionnement et la maintenance de telles usines. La présente Norme internationale n'est pas applicable aux schémas du domaine électrotechnique.

Diagrams for the chemical and petrochemical industry - Part 2 : graphical symbols

ISO 10628-2:2012 defines graphical symbols for the preparation of diagrams for the chemical and petrochemical industry. It is a collective application standard of the ISO 14617 series. ISO 10628-2:2012 does not apply to graphical symbols for electrotechnical diagrams; for these, see IEC 60617.

Diagrams for the chemical and petrochemical industry - Part 1 : specification of diagrams

ISO 10628-1:2014 specifies the classification, content, and representation of flow diagrams. In addition, it lays down drafting rules for flow diagrams for chemical and petrochemical industry. ISO 10628 does not apply to electrical engineering diagrams. ISO 10628-1:2014 is a collective application standard of ISO 15519.
