La présente norme prescrit une méthode d'essai pour déterminer l'efficacité des agents de décontamination pour éliminer les radionucléides déposés sur un textile. Elle s'applique à l'essai des détergents, qui peuvent être utilisés en solution aqueuse, pour le nettoyage des textiles contaminés par les éléments radioactifs. Elle ne s'applique pas aux essais de l'aptitude des détergents à éliminer la saleté non radioactive, celle-ci étant considérée comme établie de façon satisfaisante.
